My London Love
My ASOS package has arrived from London. I have found myself missing London so much lately, a part of my heart and who I am will always be tied to that city. It is such an inspiring city to me, Europe in general really, so although I cannot travel to my beloved London I can certainly still shop from London! A few clocks, a concerning phone call from my bank to confirm an international purchase, a week of patience and it is finally here. Obviously I am feeling the spike thing lately when it comes to accessories, I like to think of it more along the lines that this is my timeless style and it just happens to be in fashion right now, so I am working on my personal inventory.
Tonight I will take my London items out on the town for drinks with friends to celebrate their arrival to California. It makes me feel a little more connected to the city that I love so much, like I received a love letter or something. Tonight I will dream of Europe and London and these items are a reminder to me that in my own way, I will always be connected to it. To me, this is what fashion is all about...a story, a place, a time in your life...a connected experience really!

Dreamy Saturday
Today in my dreams this is what I wear. I sit at a
cafe with a warm drink in hand, so warm it burns the inside of my fingers as I grasp the cup bringing it to my lips for a careful sip. My large sunglasses keeping me safe from the suns intense glare allowing my squint to relax along with my thoughts. My friends come to visit for a while, we visit, we laugh. After they leave the sunlight starts to fade on the day. I listen to gentle music and work on my blog reaching out to the world in a way that I never thought I could. Sharing a part of whats inside me with people from all over the world, reaching out to those I know personally and those I will never have the pleasure of meeting. I am happy here just sitting and blogging. Carefully sipping my drink that has by this time cooled down, but sipping makes this moment last longer....and so I gently take my time, blog and sip.
