My Style

My look has always consisted of a blend of looks that contradict each other; feminine-sporty, bohemian-rocker, classic vintage-modern chic, buttoned up-relaxed and easy. Life is not defined in black and white, it does not follow a precise compass; it is messy and wild and free.
And so, I allow these looks...these feelings to battle inside of me. Sometimes they battle and from one day to the next my fashion will transition, other times the seasons guide this dance. Do not allow one style, one mold to proclaim your creativity and the way that you show you to the world. Do not limit yourself to one way of expression, for you are too dynamic and lovely to limit yourself to one path.
Live many lives in one!
Life is messy...I always attempt welcome its invitation when it asks me to get messy back!
Stay true and don't be afraid to be the most dynamic version of you

Time to Shine.

It is photo's like these that inspire me to sit up a little more strait, to make sure I am polished and to take those little details to the next level, just as I am rushing out the door for yet another day in the life... But today is your day, take it, own it, and make it yours my Fashionistas! Time to Shine Darlings!

Winter Grey and My Love

She gently sips hot tea in a darkly lit cafe that seems to be
as old as time itself. Her furry companion she cannot name, for one name will never be good enough...and so she calls him simply, "My Love". In the corner the fire rages, bringing to the dimly lit cafe a gentle warmth and smokey smell. It rains outside and falls loudly on the cafe's tin roof. She smirks gently looking out the window. Soon the snow will come. Winter will be here and her world will look completely different, she wonders if she will be different too. She welcomes the white season with a gentle curiosity and a readiness for the unexpected. With her love by her side in the smokey, cozy cafe all is well. And so for a moment, so is she! -Brooke

Burberry Delights

I go through phases of interest in purses. Sometimes I find a ton that I would love to call my own (usually it is online and out of my price range), and then other times I will be perfectly happy with what I have because there is just nothing out their that I am really interested in spending my money on (that I can find within my price range). And lately, I have decided that I am just going to have to save, then spend the money on a purse that I am going to keep for years and years to come. And I am usually not a brand seeker when it comes to purses. I'm not a Coach girl or a Juicy girl...but Burberry has really been impressing me lately! Two major brands that I can think of right now that I would spend the money on would be Burberry and Louis Vuitton. They are classic, well made and if you pick a style that suits you, it can be a fashion staple for years to come.
And so, I'm on the hunt, and these are my Burberry loves. I'm hoping the more I save for it, the more I will be able to narrow down my decision, but here are the purses in the running right now. What do you think?

Medium Belted Bridle Leather Hobo Bag, $1,195.00.
Grainy Leather Tote Bag, $1,395.00
Quilted Leather Biker Tote Bag, $1,795.00.
I have to say that I think this last black one is really pulling on my heart strings. And I am a sucker for patent leather that is done in a classy way! But, count on me to somehow, without even looking at the prices... to manage to pick the most expensive one from the bunch! (Sigh)
