My Style

My look has always consisted of a blend of looks that contradict each other; feminine-sporty, bohemian-rocker, classic vintage-modern chic, buttoned up-relaxed and easy. Life is not defined in black and white, it does not follow a precise compass; it is messy and wild and free. 

And so, I allow these looks...these feelings to battle inside of me. Sometimes they battle and from one day to the next my fashion will transition, other times the seasons guide this dance. Do not allow one style, one mold to proclaim your creativity and the way that you show you to the world. Do not limit yourself to one way of expression, for you are too dynamic and lovely to limit yourself to one path. 

Live many lives in one! 

Life is messy...I always attempt welcome its invitation when it asks me to get messy back! 

Stay true and don't be afraid to be the most dynamic version of you!

My Summer Style

This is my favorite summer shirt, I think I have worn it every weekend since I bought it. And this skirt I purchased at a warehouse sale in Southern California ages ago, it is my favorite! The skirt bubbles out and is so subtly colorful, it seems to go with everything! Enjoying the California Sun! 

Handsome Vintage

My gusband Eric bought these shoes! They seem to go with everything so effortlessly and yet he looks so pulled together at the same time. Take notes boys and girls, a little vintage flair can go a long way!

Monday Chic Street Style

I am absolutely in LOVE with her look. Something is a little wrong about it and that somehow makes it so very right....right?!?! I especially love how she pulls of these pants! I shop for old man pants at vintage shops all the time and have about 2 pairs like this....they look lovely paired with a chic pair of heels. Then her jacket just puts the icing on the cake here. Brave and deee-vine!

My Vintage Life

So this is my Vintage Muff. The moment I saw it at my favorite vintage shop I knew I HAD to have it! It is totally oversized which is just how I love my accessories to be, then they can make a statement. I think it is fox fur, but it is really soft and I LOVE it! I can seriously put everything in it, it will hold all that I need for the evening and then some. Plus it is perfect for a night out when you dont want to wear too many heavy clothes that you are just going to have to carry around once you get inside wherever you are going. It will keep your hands warm and the inside is lined with silk. I am a sucker for the feel of fabric, fur or just soft material in general-so this piece is extra special for me! 

My version of Easy Breezy

These pants are my go to pants, when I dont want to think about it pants, when I want to be comfortable pants and when I want to be chic pants....so as you can tell, they are an important staple to my wardrobe. I will probably grow away from them with time as we all do with our fashion items, they will be out staged by a new piece that fits better. Then probably 8 years down the road I will put them on again and wonder how I ever thought they were flattering on my shape. HA HA! But for now they are perfect for a sushi dinner date with my handsome boyfriend. Easy Breezy! I hope you like it.

I have no idea who SJP is wearing or where she is...but one thing I know for sure! When the girl turns it on, she really hits the nail on the head! I die for this outfit!!! The coat takes my breath away, the dress peeping out...absolute perfection! The clutch, incredible and unique. And the shoes to finish it all off, ah-ma-ing! She looks beautiful on top of it all, the hair and makeup she has down to a fine art! Absolutely Lovely! 

Glow in the dark Bohemian Funk

This photo shoot has a little Tim Burton on it if you ask me...or maybe that's just because I visited the Tim Burton exhibit at the Los Angeles Museum just recently with my Mateo. I love the coloring in this spread, everything seems to be illuminated in a black light fashion. Its a collage of  color and funky pieces with vintage shapes.
