Today I am starting off my Morning with a little Stevie Nicks. I am getting ready to head up the mountain and do some snowboarding with my sweetie! One of my favorite things to do!!! But I was getting my gear together and listening to Stevie Nicks on this overcast and blustery day...
Her music got me thinking about the boho chic style; she was really a type of pioneer for this gypsy like look or lifestyle if you will! So, here is a little bohemian chic style from Stevie for your Sunday Shenanigans. I hope you enjoy your Sunday as much as I know I will :)

I have a top hat that was my grandfathers and it is made of beaver skin. Its worn and lovely and I will cherish it my entire life. I used to delicately play with it as a little girl, even at a young age understanding how precious it was after he passed away. I was always my grandfathers little girl!!! So I absolutely adore how Stevie was able to play with such a profound fashion accessorie and make it work for her every day! Lovely and fashion fearless!

 I think this is my favorite photo of them all. Its like we are peeking in on her in this gentle moment in between the beets or something when you know she was surrounded by a ton of people and lots of movement. She is so effortlessly chic!

I am absolutely LOVING the color of her hair. I have been wanting to dye my hair a vibrant off-beat color like this for some time now! AHHHH! Deee-vine!

I am in love with her hair. I hate to put this out in the world, but it will be my reality to have grey hair at a very young age as it runs on both sides of my family tree. It is women like this that inspire me to enjoy the process and to play with it. Her streak is very Daphne Guinness!

I am running a half marathon today, which is something that is on my bucket list. Starting this blog was also on my bucket list. Check list items done. I LOVE that! I know...I know...I am a total Geek :)

Live like it is your last day..... Smell the air, go for a walk, call an old friend, call a new friend, do something you have always wanted to do, or remind someone in your life that you care about them. Being a bereavement counselor reminds me every day that life is a gift and happiness is something that we have to create for ourselves, sometimes we even have to fight for it. I hope you can create some happiness and cultivate peace for yourself today!

I am just adoring the hair turban that I believe June Ambrose might have brought back to fashion in a really chic way! I have a black one I bought from BCBG about two seasons ago. It adds edge to any outfit, but you have to make sure you accentuate either your lips or your eyes in a big way to support the look! Super Fun!

Fashion tip: You can purchase those jackets with unusual cuts, just make sure they accentuate your shape well and keep them in the neutral color pallet so that they can remain an unusual but timeless piece for you. Then they are worth the investment!
