Alexander McQueen Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear

Count on McQueen to keep us inspired in ways we never knew even existed. Always pulling from natural inspiration tied to animals and natural texture and characters. The attention to detail is so Mr. McQueen but you can definitely see how Sarah Burton is adding her own flair to this characteristic. This show made me feel like I was exploring an ocean reef!  How very exceptional and lovely! 

Yves Saint Laurent Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear

The choice in Fabric is what blows my mind with this collection. Then its almost as if the cut of the fabric was authentically what nature intended it to be. The fabric has this movement to it that is completely memorizing! Modern Parisian chic at its very finest! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

We all know that the vibrant colors are so very "IN" this season! But, it is my humble opinion that there is a subtle difference between chic and cheap when it comes to items like this awesome rockin' jacket! When working with vibrant statement pieces, make sure they fit you correctly, they should be tailored if needed. They should also be made with quality fabric, if it is cheaply made it will scream FOREVER 21 from the roof tops and fade with multiple washes...ehhhh! Pieces like this are trend type items which can be found on sale at one of my favorite places to shop: Nordstrom Rack.  I love how this girl has a bit of a tom-boy flair to her look and is contrasting with such a vibrant feminine color! Also, what a wonderful piece for your wardrobe to style up your work ensembles!?!?! Awesome! Happy summer shopping my followers! YAY!

I love the cut of her pants! Again she toys with the geeky cut and manages to find that delicate balance that keeps it modern and chic! And then the poncho cut top (second in from the right) is awesome! The dress on the far right, I would put a colorful little cinch belt with it and dress it different with some fun shoes! Awesome! Awesome!

I absolutely LOVE this one piece emsemble. There is

something completely geeky about it; the design is almost

tourist hawaiian shirt style, the fit is loose, the collar is

high. Everything about this screams geek, and yet there is

something so very chic about it! That is what I love about

Stella, she can make the lines that you are used to look

somehow so very new without looking too bland or too

wild. She finds such a wonderful balance in her designs

and her colors are always spot on! I

would of loved to of had something like this for my

vacation, I would have worn it every day! Give me some

wedges, some winged eye liner and a simple

clutch....DONE!
