Fashion Photo of the Day

This beautiful photo was for Bambi Magazine and I have been staring at it for a good 4 minutes (that's a long time people!). I am obsessing over this exaggerated Carrie Bradshaw moment, if you will recall at the L.A. book reading she wears a green top where the part around her neck falls to look like a flower.
But...what is really making me gasp for breathe are those BOOTS! I would DIE for these boots! uhhhhhhhh! Brilliant!

Raquel Zimmermann for Alexander McQueen Autumn/Winter 2011 Campaign

Raquel looks like she is in a fairy tale. But what else would you expect from Alexander McQueen's Ms. Burton? The clothing is perfection, the shoes are always inspiring and the photography is ah-mazing! Definitely some fashion inspiration for me today!
These shoes alone with a plain t and a pair of simple dress pants and you are done! Lovely!

My New Red Shoes

Okay...Okay, they are not mine yet...But they will be very, very soon! After searching and searching for a red pair that had a classic design with that timeless quality we all love, while at the same time I wanted them to be somewhat unique. I am high maintenance, I know this! Especially when it comes to shoes...I know what I like! My feet are my best feature, so I need to choose wisely.
After soul searching (get it?) and budgeting and shopping, and shopping, and shopping (life is hard, huh?) I have chosen THE pair for me... BEHOLD

I will be buying them this week at Nordstom's, they are currently selling for $149.95.
I think they are modern while still somehow remaining true to some classic shape that is fun with the wedge. The ankle strap is wonderful and the heel is high but with the platform they are not too high. Which means that I will be able to wear them comfortably around the office for work! Lovely! What do you think?

LOVE THEM! These shoes make me giddy; bouncing on my butt in a chair clapping my hands together in sink like a little school girl! YAY!

Anne Sofie Madsen at Copenhagen Fashion Week S/S 2012

photo's courtesy of: http://coolechicstylefashion.blogspot.com/

This collection seems to almost be Givenchy and Dolce & Gabanna Inspired with the delicate see through element and graphic arrangement, and yet this collection is unique in that there is a flowy like quality with the fabrics used. I love it! Wonderful collection!

Oscar De La Renta Charm

Oscar is adorable in this video! He tells us a little about his design history and humble beginnings. But mostly he speaks about what inspires him and how his goal is to empower women, you can tell this brings to him so much joy that he speaks with a smile on his face the entire time (adorable). His sense of fulfillment with his profession and his pure inspiration radiates in his smirk almost as if he is going to stop and burst into laughter while trapsing through his memories. Watch Oscar De La Renta tell us about the power of femininity, and womens sense of individuality. He seems to be so very aware of how this power that women have is changing the world in monumental ways. "Never in history has a woman been in more control of her destiny than she is now." -Oscar

Designer Marios Schwab Exits Halston, Too!

I don't know what the heck is going on behind the scenes at the Halston design house, but what a mess! The word is that Sarah Jessica Parker and Harvey Weinstein have both parted from the house in the last 48 hours and now Designer Marios Schwab is following them out the door. Coco Perez reported that Marios was informed his contract as designer would not be renewed and he left, simply waled out. It looks like the 2012 collections will not be made, which word is...they have already been ordered by different boutiques and stores for upcoming sale. Something is awry and it makes me wonder...is the design house going to come crashing to the ground without these amazing fashion moguls their to hold it up? Read the story on cocoperez.com:
