Absolute Fashion Brilliance! I am falling in love with the ensemble on the left! I covet this sweatshirt and combined with the see through skirt....Fashion Heart Palpitations! Thinking of how I am going to recreate this look on my own. Why?!?! Because unless Givenchy reads this and takes pity on my poor overworked heart, I will just have to dream : )  I am loving the graphic designs on both! (Sigh in fashion happiness and sink into seat!)

Celine Resort 2012

I cannot even begin to explain how much I am loving Celine lately! I have always loved fabric that has black with vibrant flowers on it! It is a pattern style that goes back to my childhood love of fashion and interior design and I am so incredibly happy that it is back, because it is timeless for me and I am going to stock up on this look while it is for sale : ). This Celine collection is whispering to my androgynous side while the fabric calls my girly girl out to play! It is the perfect blend of opposites attract, which we all know I LOVE! 
This collection has also inspired me to pull out my white pumps, I wear them mostly with a few vintage dresses that I own, but loving how they pop and work with this fabric! Brilliance! 

John Galliano is officially unemployed! Ouch!

First Dior and now his very own label!!!! The board for the John Galliano House decided to let him go after his video recorded drunken, antisemitic rant! From the top to the bottom, that is a long way to fall.
Mr. Galliano is creatively one of my favorite designers, so it is very sad to see this happen! But I have to admit at the same time that I am happy to see that there is a public backlash for this kind of behavior. What kind of a message would it send if he merely received a slap on the back of his hand?!?! Attention is being payed in the fashion world and I am glad it is acknowledging the seriousness of this kind of "conversation" in the 21st century.

Break my Heart! My favorite designer was just shown on CNN saying, "I love Hitler!" And reportedly managed to fit in quite a few racial slurs in this now public video taped conversation. I have heard at this time that Galliano was suspended, and then later heard that he was let go from his position as designer for Christian Dior. This is so upsetting! I am still waiting for the dramatic dust to settle in order to allow the truth to surface...will report with more at that time. But for now, I am sad to say, that it sounds like the house of Dior made a wise decision.

John Galliano Racist Drunk in a Bar in Paris " I love Hitler "
